Chat Rules & Terms of Use

  1. No soliciting of any kind for websites, products, services, or directing members to other websites.
  2. DO NOT SEND MONEY to anyone on this Chat or this site!. If you send money, you WILL GET SCAMMED! If anyone asks you for money, report it to Contact Us immediately.
  3. No vulgar, explicit, sexual, insulting, or offensive language.
  4. No Flaming: Do not engage or join into activities which directly or indirectly harass, threaten, abuse or intimidate other members. In other words, don't be mean to others, and no pack attacks.
  5. No Flooding: Do not monopolize the chat room by entering large amounts of text. This keeps others from being able to share their opinions, is rude, and disrupts the flow of chat.
  6. NO TYPING IN ALL CAPS.
  7. No derogatory or offensive references to sex, gender, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.
  8. Do not gossip, expose, or post copies of private emails or complaints of other members. Abuse reports and complaints about members should be sent to Contact Us, not posted in the chat.
  9. No personally identifiable info, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, URLs. This is for your safety and privacy. No attempts to collect other members personal info either.
  10. No bashing this site or the moderators here. This is a free site… if you don’t like the way things are handled here, you are as free to leave as you were to join.
  11. Members have the right to refuse your request for person-to-person chat. Don’t react rudely. Find someone else to chat with.
  12. There are no member-moderators on Connecting Singles. Anyone that pretends to be a moderator or pretends to work for ConnectingSingles.com will be banned.
  13. Read the rules. Members who use chat are expected to read and follow the rules. Staff does not sit and hold hands here to make sure you follow them. If you break the rules, you will be removed with or without warning or notice.
